The creators of Strings of Thought open the doors to the audience for the first presentation of Strings of Thought, within Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture. Afterwards there will be a conversation with the artists about goals, methods and working processes for this creation.

Cycle of residencies GHOST

GHOST is a cycle of five invitations made to collective projects which, in the context of an artistic residency, occupy the space of the Atelier Real in order to explore different ways of presenting their works and freely programming this experiment for two weeks. Their name is an acronym of [Guest + Host] and it is in the dynamics suggested by this relationship between opposites that we lay the basis for a working experiment; in this case, between the one who is receiving and the one who is received.

NEW CREATION - STRINGS OF THOUGHT

At the moment I'm developing a new creation - Strings of Thought; with the collaboration of digital artist Ivan Franco. This project intends to explore the human condition by focusing in the relationship between the "self" and its own consciousness, and by materializing all the strings of thoughts that constantly intersect and influence our actions.

Next friday, 3 artists groups will present the work they have been developing in the Looping residencies at O Espaço do Tempo. Premiere on the 5th and 6th June. The projects will then follow to France, Uzès Danse Festival and Berlin, Tanz Im August festival.

NERVES LIKE NYLON IN ARTEZ INSTITUTE OF THE ARTS

NLN will be in residency at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts within Dance Unlimited. NLN explores the relationship between dance and sculpture and, is based on the principle that a choreographic construction can trigger movement when it contains a certain degree of stillness. The residency will culminate with 3 evenings presentation in April.
